Thank you for your interest in the CNCA-700. The SPECTRUM CNCA-700 is
the most advanced automatic coaxial cable cutting and stripping machine on the
market. The SPECTRUM CNCA-700 can precisely strip coaxial cables to almost
unlimited stages in one operation. The SPECTRUM CNCA-700 stores the exact
values of the parameters and programs for stripping different cables. The
operating instructions are available in German and English and will familiarize
you with the machine. The CNCA-700 is the perfect tool for producing state-of-the-
art coaxial cable assemblies.
SERVICE
The “Warranty Certificate ” will be shipped with your machine. This certificate
will explain your warranty completely. We are not liable for damage, which
occurs through abuse of the machine. Do not, under any circumstances, perform
any alterations or modifications to the machine.
The SPECTRUM service department is available Monday through Friday from
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call our help line at +49-89-3548-040 when a problem
arises which you cannot solve yourself. Our experts will assist you in solving the
problem via telephone. Thus downtime will be kept to an absolute minimum.
TRANSPORTATION
The CNCA-700 can be delivered in a factory-approved package or picked up by
the customer. The customer carries the risk of damage to the product during
transportation. Transportation insurance is available to the customer at cost.
OPERATOR’S MANUAL
Every Person attending the CNCA-700 Training Seminar will be handed out a
complete version of the Operators Manual, supposing that the fee was paid in full.
The Operators Manual will consist of :

STARTING UP
The CNCA-700 is a state-of-the-art machine. It needs a proper installation and
should only be operated by trained personnel.
• Remove packaging
• Set up the machine on a flat surface. Clean all parts carefully. Remove grease that was
put on parts for transportation purposes.
• Align properly the machine with the turning equipment.
• It is recommended to use the provided fixtures to mount the machine tightly to
the ground.
• Supply air pressure, 6-bar min. (87 psi), of clean and dry compressed air, filtered if
necessary.
• Supply electricity.
• It is highly recommended that the machine is turned on the first time in presence of
authorized personnel of Spectrum Elektrotechnik GmbH.
PRECISION
• Length tolerances of max. 0.004" (0.1 mm), depending on the option purchased;
• Adjustments in stripping lengths: 0.002" min. (0.05 mm)
• Adjustments in stripping diameters: 0.0004" min (0.01 mm)
PROGRAMMING
The SPECTRUM CNCA-700 is easy to program and stores an unlimited number
of programs when connected to a PC. The PC transfer program though must be
purchased separately.
Program changes or adding own programs are only allowed at Registers 3001 and
up.
QUALITY
• Interfaces are clean
• Outer conductors can be cut free of burr
• Center Conductors can be chamfered
SETTING UP TIME
Changing collets and brackets in shortest time. The program is loaded in seconds.
